Transfer of mathematics learning to problems of electrical and electronic engineering during the first year of university
Description
This paper presents data gathered from interviews with engineering students during their first year at university and forms part of a larger research project funded by the ESRC. The engineering courses are mathematically demanding and it is the students' mathematical skills that may ultimately determine their overall success or failure on their courses.
